Sunset Concert Series - Chris Shaw and Bridget Ball - Music and Stories About the Adirondacks

Adirondack songs and stories with a natural twist. Chris Shaw was raised in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. He was born the son of a commercial steamboat pilot on Lake George. Shaw worked the big boats and grew up listening to the songs and stories passed down in those mountains from generation to generation, never suspecting he would bring those same songs and stories to audiences all over the world.

Bridget Ball was born and raised in central New York State, where the foothills of the Adirondacks melt into the rolling hills of New England and the Midwest begins to weave its love affair with the horizon. Her music was born and raised there too, in the tap rooms and taverns, hardware stores and kitchens of a people living and dying, laughing and loving in the crossroads of America.
