Doug Patton, President of the Brant Lake Foundation, will speak about the campaign to control Eurasian milfoil in their "Protect Brant Lake - Clean Boats - Clean Waters," program. It is believed that these aquatic invaders threaten about one-quarter of New York lakes. The milfoil battle is a tough one, and Doug will explain what is being done to curb its spread and how it is being removed from lakes where it has already gained hold.
