The Loon Lake Park District Association was formed to represent and protect the interests of the residents and property owners within the district.

Their principal aims are:

• The Protection of the ecology of the lake and surrounding area
• Preservation of the natural beauty of the area
• Promotion of safety by such means as encouraging proper boating and swimming habit
• Development and preservation of recreational opportunities for all residents
