The Priory of St. Benedict is a retreat house staffed by the Sisters of St. Joseph and lay people open to people of all faiths to enjoy a peaceful place to relax in the pristine Adirondack Mountains. Located off of the Northway (I-87), Exit 25, on Route 8 just through Chestertown, NY. They are situated on 100 acres of beautiful land with trails through the woods for walking and six miles of groomed trails for hiking or cross country skiing. Take advantage of cool, inviting Loon Lake, at the bottom of the mountain, and go swimming or ice skating.
