GarWood Custom Boats www.garwoodcustomboats.com is a leading name in the wood boat building business. These mohagany boats, originally built by Garfield Arthur Wood (1929-1947), were a legend in their time, and the current business restores these early boats, as well as constructs new ones. There are now 20 full time and part time employees, including family members who build as many as six GarWoods per year, which are exacting reproductions of of the original American classics. GarWood Custom Boats are shipped to Europe, Canada and throughout the United States. The current business is operated by the Turcotte brothers, Tom and Larry Turcotte.
