Operated by Iowa Pacific Railroad, the Saratoga to North Creek line provides passenger and tourist train service year-round. Features are ski trains, dining cars, and special tourist theme trains and events during the summer & fall months.
Scenic dome cars provide riders the opportunity to take in the beauty
of the Adirondacks. Winter ski trains will bring passengers from the
Albany/Saratoga area to the Gore Mountain area.
Three runs, The Merganser, the New York Express and the Hudson Explorer tie customers from upstate to the metropolitan areas of New York. The Hudson Explorer tourist train provides morning service to North Creek, returning to Saratoga in the afternoon. Beverage and lunch services available on board.
