The Saratoga & North Creek Railway is operated by Iowa Pacific Holdings Company. The railway provides a 27 mile connection service between Saratoga Springs and North Creek with nine brief flag stops at towns and villages along the way that dot the Adirondack landscape following the upper reaches of the Hudson River.  The Saratoga Station is also served by AMTRAK for ease of connection.

Scenic Dome cars as well as passenger coach cars both offer complete chef-prepared food and beverage services. Railway excursion trips run most of the year and in the summer through fall months operate 7 days per week. In winter, the Gore Mountain Snow Train provides weekend service to bring skiers and winter enthusiasts to North Creek, an original ski village. During Saratoga Track Season, those staying in the Adirondacks may opt to avoid the traffic and take the ride down to visit the track for the day. Whether for transportation or just for the thrill of riding on a vintage railroad, our passengers enjoy the comfort and uniqueness of the journey.
